Warrior Diet Tip of the Week 3

Sweeteners: If you need something a little sweet for a drink during the day or if a recipe calls for sugar you can use alternative sources for sweeteners instead. Most artificial sweeteners are bad for you and contain aspartame, saccharin, sucrose etc. however there are good sources of low glycemic zero calorie sweeteners on the market now such as stevia or low glycemic sweeteners such as Agave nectar which when used in proper quantities are a great alternative to sugar or artificial sweeteners.

What Others Are Saying About The TKC!

Life Changing

Jesus Gaitan, David Butler & Maria Gaitan are all Top Notch Professionals, they give a whole new meaning to training/physical Fitness...I have had the absolute pleasure of attending The Texas Kettlebell Club for several months,not only is the experience mind altering, it indeed is life changing...As the owner of a extremely busy/demanding Medical Practice, days are not only challenging,but can also come with a tremendous amount of stress...The Texas Kettlebell Club is my 1 hour Escape/Therapy...
Anyone out there that has a high stress profession & who is looking to train, I highly recommend finding a club such as The Texas Kettlebell Club & Instructors such as Jesus, David & Maria.

Warrior Diet Tip of the Week 2

Warrior diet tip of the week #2, drinks instead of the high glycemic soft drinks such as Coke Cola, Pepsi, Big Red, or poisonous energy drinks such as red bull, Monster, etc. try switching to natural alternatives such as coffee,non sweet tea, herbal teas like green tea or make your own blend of low glycemic fruit juices... during the daytime hours. If you are going to drink fruit juice it is best to make your own with a blender at home. Store bought fruit juices lose the live enzymes that are present in juices which have been immediately blended. These healthy drinks when used in proper quantity allow you something besides water to drink throughout the day.

Workout of the Week 2;

1. Body Weight Warm Up: Squats/Push-ups/Mountain Climbers/ Jump Squats/ Hindu Push Ups.

1. 2KB Snatch & Burpee Super Set; 21,18,15,12, & 9 reps of each.

2. Tabata (20 on/ 10 off x 8 Rounds) Ab Crusher to Russian Twist.

3. Side Plank L 1min/ R 1min x 2

4. Tabata super set: 2KB or BB Push Press & 2KB or BB Cleans(4 rounds of each)

Warrior Diet Tip of the Week 1

Breakfast is known as the most important meal of the day but it is what actually holds peoples progress back. The main meals eaten for breakfast (bacon, toast, cereal,) cause an insulin spike and/or tax the digestive system right off of the bat and set you up for failure. So in...stead of a big heavy insulin spiking breakfast have some low glycemic fruit, few eggs or veggies so start out your day. You will feel more energized and less sluggish thorough the day.
